In 1998 begon de Duitse familie Knauf met de creatie van een prachtig wijndomein in Bolgheri, inmiddels een van de meest vooraanstaande wijngebieden van Italië. De 20 hectaren zijn beplant met bordeauxrassen zoals cabernet sauvignon en cabernet franc, merlot en zelfs petit verdot.
