Zo ook in de kleine wijnstreek Almansa. De inmiddels meer Spaanse dan Nederlandse Thomas Feenstra teelt zijn druiven hier in hooggelegen wijngaarden. De Zuid-Spaanse warmte zorgt voor rijpe druiven, terwijl de hoge ligging precies voldoende koelte biedt voor het behoud van frisse zuren...

Richard Kershaw is beroemd om z’n buitengewoon mooie koel-klimaatwijnen uit de Zuid-Afrikaanse wijnstreek Elgin. Deze Britse Master of Wine kijkt echter graag verder dan zijn neus lang is. Zodoende ging hij op onderzoek uit in de omgeving rondom Elgin, op zoek naar spannende terroirs.
